What does HDTV Stand for?
Easy... High Definition Television!

What is Digital Television?
This type of television, nicknamed DTV, is just a new way to get you signals that look better and sound better!

Do I need a special TV to watch digital or high definition television?
YES, if you truly want the picture in digital format or High Definition. You’ll need a TV that can put out resolution of 1080i, 720p, and 1080p.

When will everything become digital?
I kind of scared you there. Alright, well first they thought every station would broadcast in digital by 2003. That never happened. Then, the date was January 1st, 2007. But that never happened either.
The current date however, is set for February 19th, 2009! So you have time to save up some money and purchase that digital television. Who knows, they may push that back too!

What will it cost for an HDTV?
Plasma, LCD, DLP and projectors prices have been coming down now that more people are buying HD TVs’. Based on the type of HDTV and how big it is, along with a bunch of other factors, you may spend anywhere from $1k to $10k... And many times a lot more! Yes, that's a scary number... but Simply Remote will show you ways around it.

Does Digital TV Look ANY Better?
DEFINITELY! Your analog TV can get noise, color errors, and snow... DTV's and HDTV's have been compared to "looking out of a window." Yes, it's that real. Now that DVDs have gone to HD it looks like your in the movies.
